| Caska - island of Pag |
Nowadays, it is the place of the submerged town Kisa on the west side of the bay of Pag. In the 10th century, the Byzantine emperor Porifogenet named the whole island after this town - Kissa. The researches of this area confirm the theory of the historian Petar Ferdebar, which he presented in his book "Hiperija", that the mythical Atlantis existed in the area between Nin, Vir, Lošinj, and that this large civilization centre was directly connected with Caska 12 000 years ago.
